I'm a results-oriented tool and script designer with a background in Unix Administration and Engineering - offering considerable experience gained within an Investment Banking environment. Key expertise lies in the ability to take a concept from the business and create the initial design and build of automative or web-based tools which are scalable for evolution. This usually involves an Oracle database backend where I design and create all of the necessary tables and functions. Tables are populated by underlying Perl and/or shell scripts. Intranet sites are built on an Apache webserver with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and even Ajax and XML if required. I've a proven track record of delivering effective business solutions to meet business critical objectives.
